The Cambodian NGO SOVANN PHOUM (SP) is established in 2000 and operates in rural and urban areas through a community development project in order to improve conditions of life, health and education of the disadvantaged people, especially children and women. SP is seeking a Junior Assistant for the MC (Micro Credit) project based in Phnom Penh.

The Cambodian NGO SOVANN PHOUM (SP) is established in 2000 and operates in rural and urban areas through a community development project in order to improve conditions of life, health and education of the disadvantaged people, especially children and women. SP is seeking a Junior Assistant for the MC (Micro Credit) project based in Phnom Penh.
NEED:
- Gather information and select the target group for MC project.
- Establish the tools related to MC activities (loan contracts, passbook, repayment report, etc).
Conduct training for beneficiaries related to loan activities, business plan, etc. - Disburse loans and collect repayment in target areas.
- Follow-up and assess the borrower activities concerning loans.
- Prepare activities plan and monthly report.
- Participate to the strategic plan development (long/short term).
JD:
- Cambodian nationality.
- Bachelor Degree of Economic or Social Sciences, Finance & Banking.
- Experience with NGO, especially in MC activities.
- Good communication, willingness to work in team and helping disadvantaged people.
- Good written and spoken Khmer and English.
- Computer literate in Ms. Word/Excel or accounting system.
