In Siem Reap, Caritas Cambodia is currently seeking One qualified Cambodian Community Nurse for the Community Health Project located in Svay Leu District and Kvav commune in Sothnikum Operational District.
NEED:
- Nurse or Medical assistant with good knowledge of C. Health system.
- At least 2 years experience in the health sector.
- Experience in community health and health education activities.
- Good communication skills, able to work in a team but also independently.
- Committed to work with the poor and in remote areas.
- English and computer skills are assets.
JD:
- Liaise with Authorities, PHD,OD, Health Center staff, VHSG, VHV, TBAs.
- Facilitate community meetings.
- Train and work with health counterparts ( VDC, Village Volunteers, TBAs, ) in the community.
- Implement MCH program with strong focus on nutrition education and child health messages.
- Strengthen “Child Survival Program” through the 12 MOH keys interventions.
- Develop School health programs including supervision of school feeding and health education activities at schools.
- Get involved in Health centers mobile activities and community health campaigns especially EPI, ANC, TB, Malaria and HIV/AIDS campaigns.
- Write activity plan and report weekly/ monthly - Monitor the impact of the project
The candidates will work in a large multi-sectoral program, in remote villages with long distances traveling and stay overnight at Caritas sub-office in Svay Leu District.
