CARE Cambodia is seeking a consultant to work on our OVC project, funded by GFATM. The Consultant is based in Phnom Penh with field travel to Pursat and Banteay Meanchey provinces.
OVC Art and Play Curriculum Development Consultant. The Consultant is required to develop an art and play curriculum with an emphasis on are therapy for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC). The contract will take place in two parts with an immediate starting date.

NEED:
- University degree in health, art, early childhood education, play therapy or social science.
- Knowledge and experience in nurturing art therapy in children.
- Experience in curriculum development.
- Working experience with OVC and non-OVC.
- Good Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have non-judgmental and compassionate attitude towards OVC.
- National experience preferred.
JD:
- Meet with OVC, and consult with their surviving parents and other key persons including home based care staff who respond to the needs of OVC.
- Undertake a review of materials previously used by CARE and other organizations.
- Identify a range of entry points in the Care and Support for OVC's Project for the use of this resource.
- Develop a practical curriculum framework (course outline) to be field tested.
- Field tests the draft curriculum.
- Develop quality improvement and monitoring tools to support the curriculum.
- Build the skills and knowledge of Ponleur Kumar through support / providing documents and deliver training sessions to staff and community are volunteers.
- Model a positive attitude.
