As a member of FHI's Global Research Group, provides technical and managerial leadership as well as oversight to research activities in the APRO and ensures that the regional research plan matches the strategic and technical guidance of the FHI Global Research Group. Leads APRO efforts in building research management and technical capacity of its staff and partners. Together with the Director, Public Health Programs, APRO and Senior Director, Global Operations, APRO develops a research agenda that supports utilization of research findings and manages a resource development plan to support the research program. MD/PhD in relevant field and 10 years of relevant experience that includes 5 years research supervisory experience. FHI has a competitive compensation package.
