The Women's Media Centre of Cambodia is looking a dynamic, experienced person to lead its newly created Business Development and External Relations Development (BDER).
Reporting to the Executive Director the successful applicant will develop and subsequently lead a team within the WMC which will have responsibility for building and maintaining good relations with all partners, clients, donors and other institutions. You will develop partnerships to raise funds and make joint media productions on subjects of importance to the position of women in Cambodia.
You will also be responsible for undertaking research into relevant issues and where appropriate lead WMC's participation in media campaigns in partnership with other organizations sharing the vision and values of WMC.
You should have a sound Business Development and Marketing background, be an innovative and strategic thinker and planner, be able to speak in public and negotiate with donors and clients for the custom and support needed to run WMC in a competitive market.
Above all, you must be committed to achieving gender equality and strengthening the position of women in society, You will help strengthen the skills of the staff working in the organization most of whom are women.
