Precise requirements vary with the scope and duration of individual projects or programmes. All appointments are subject to contracts being awarded to the British Council via competitive tendering exercises.
You will have: substantial consultancy experience working on development contracts supported by donors such as DFID, EC, ADB or WB in one or more of the specified regions, a relevant university degree or post-graduate qualification, project management skills and a proven ability to work as part of a team. Experience of working in challenging political environments and fragile states would be an asset.
