The Christian Reformed World Relief Committee, an agency of the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA), has a full-time opening for a Church and Community Consultant based in the Chicago area. With a vision for building the capacity of Christians to expand ministry to their communities, this position nurtures existing and supports the development of new community ministries through leadership training and church-based community development consulting. The successful applicant must be energetic with a pioneer spirit and a demonstrated ability to implement, improve, and integrate community ministry programs through consultation.A master’s degree in a related field or a minimum of 4 years of experience related to community or organizational development consultation experience preferred. A minimum of 8 years of cross-cultural experience is essential. Membership in the Christian Reformed Church (CRC) or the willingness to join the CRC is preferred. Eligibility to work in the US is required.
