CARE is one of the world's largest development and emergency relief organizations, cu rently operating in 71 countries. CARE is non-political and non-sectarian. CARE International in Cambodia is currently recruiting a Chief of Party to manage the USAID-funded Strengthened Capacity for Improved Community Health program, an integrated program which aims to improve the health and survival of the people of Cambodia through activities in four focus areas.
1-JD:
The Chief of Party will provide overall leadership and direction to the project, overseeing all aspects of project implementation, including program quality, personnel and financial management. S/he will ensure close coordination with USAID and other stakeholders, ensuring that all project interventions are of high quality and lead to measurable impact. Based in Phnom Penh, the position will require regular travel to Koh Kong.
2 - Need:
- Relevant Master's degree e.g., MPH
- At least 7 years of public health overseas experience; 5 in a senior management position;
- Significant experience of managing large, complex projects or programs
- Experience managing USAID/USG funded programs;
- Broad understanding of USAID/USG compliance requirements;
- Excellent training, facilitation and negotiation skills;
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines under pressure;
- Demonstrated skills in leadership and management in a complex international setting;
- Solid experience in staff supervision and development.
- At least 5 years experience in staff supervision and development
