Public Relation Officer

Job Announcement

Good Neighbors International (GNI) is an international humanitarian and development NGO. GNI has made great strides in its mission by providing people around the world with a better quality of life. Good Neighbors Cambodia (GNC) is the field country project that has been implementing its projects in Cambodia since 2002. GNC is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

Public Relation Officer (1 position based in Head Office, Phnom Penh)

Salary range is from 350$ to $500 per month plus other benefits

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update information on the GNC's website, face-book and intranet
• Produce and implement internal communication
• Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies;
• Ensure GNC promotion materials are available for distribution both internally and externally to government and partners.
• Develop GNC promotional materials such as brochures, newsletter and annual report that profiles GNC achievements.
• Prepare quarterly report and submit to government and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all IEC, reports and other publications are consistent with GNC’s corporate profile.
• Archive all PR files, press releases, speeches and other related documents.
• Ensure up-to-date dissemination listings are maintained
• Participate in and provide support to formal information systems implemented at organizational level and project levels.
• Maintain print and electronic library resources and ensure their accessibility to staff including managed circulations of incoming reports, publications, periodicals etc.

Requirement

• Degree in Journalist or Communication & Public Relation
• 2 years of experience in public relations required
• Proven track record in designing and executing successful public relations
• Strong relationships with both local and national business
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc
• Honest, flexible and able to work in a team.
• Capacity to finish work promptly on time required
