Arts & Disability Ireland Funding

We promote engagement with the arts at all levels – as professional artists, audience members and arts workers – for people of all ages with disabilities of all kinds.

We work towards arts programmes and arts venues becoming fully accessible experiences for all audiences.

We advocate for inclusive policy and practice which provides real access to all aspects of the arts for people with disabilities, and for everyone.

Arts & Disability Ireland and the Arts Council announce Arts and Disability Connect (ADC) a scheme open to artists with disabilities working in any artform. Artists with disabilities are invited to apply for New Work, Mentoring and Training awards.

Arts and Disability Connect – Funding Scheme for Artists
The Arts and Disability Connect (ADC) is a funding scheme available to individual artists with disabilities.  The Arts and Disability Connect (ADC) scheme is designed to support artists with disabilities to make new ambitious work. It offers artists an opportunity to connect with other artists or venues or to engage in mentoring and training; to make a change in their practice; to ‘step up’ in terms of scope and scale; to engage in new learning experiences and working relationships; and to reach new audiences.  This scheme is funded by the Arts Council/An Chomhairle EalaĆon and managed by Arts & Disability Ireland (ADI).
