Job Announcement

Good Neighbors Cambodia (GNC) is the field country office of Good Neighbors International working in 37 countries in the world. Good Neighbors Cambodia is implementing long term integrated projects focusing on sponsorship, education, health, water & sanitation, income generation & partnership building in some provinces of Cambodia; and we are expanding more projects to other provinces to meet our rapid growth. We are seeking more qualified candidates to join our dynamic team for the following position:

Driver (1 position based in Cheung Aek district, Khan Dangkor, Phnom Penh)

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe transportation for all passengers in the vehicle
• Ensure all passengers are using their seat belts and respect all traffic laws
• Ensure that all passengers are treated in a respectful professional manner at all times.
• Provide assistance with loading and unloading of the car
• Transport any goods, communications, and messages for the project or project team as required.
• Transportation of all project visitors and beneficiaries as required by project management
• Prepare fuel vouchers for all staff who use GNC motorbikes.
• Oversee the use and maintenance of all vehicles of the projects.
• Negotiate and maintain relations with petrol stations to obtain most appropriate contract
• Maintain vehicle log record daily, including date, mileage and purpose of each trip
• Check and maintain fuel, water, oil and tire pressure on a routine basis
• Ensure the vehicle is cleaned daily, both inside and outside
• Ensure the vehicle is secured at all times
• Adhere to GN code of conduct and be polite to all staff and stakeholders
• Improve skills on computer use to be easy for log-sheet completion
• Load or unload goods or materials in or from the vehicle
• Be close to the vehicle in order to be easy to staff who need to access the car
• Be easy for phone access ether working day or weekend
• Other duties as directed by management staff

Requirement

1. Certificated of Bac II or related certificated
2. Certificated of car license
3. At least 2 years working experience on safe driver
4. Honest, trustworthy, hard-working and willing to learn
