TRAINER’S PROFILE
Mr Isa’s 30 years of experiences have allowed him to lead and manage programs and workshops involving leadership management, team dynamics, organizational changes, train the trainer, customer service and change management. He has lead or worked on programs covering the formation and maintenance of high performing teams, workplace communication, Customer Relationship Management and interpersonal skills development. Being a corporate entrepreneur as the Executive Director of a Training and Consultancy company has enriched his business and strategic views about the global business expectations and challenges today.
Coaching and Training Experience
His programs and workshops have been attended by participants from the maritime, finance, telecommunication pharmaceutical, education, service, manufacturing, logistics and government organizations. - Differentiate Andragogy from Pedagogy
- Determine appropriate instructional methods for different types of adult learners
- Identify and overcome barriers to adult learning
- Motivate adults to learn
- Maximize retention in adult learners
- Apply adult learning concepts and theories
- Identify appropriate learning strategies for specific learning styles
- Determine appropriate techniques to identify individual adult learner needs
- Describe how learning styles/preferences impact learning delivery
- Use appropriate training strategies to accommodate culturally diverse learners
- Use suitable approaches to fulfill the roles of a trainer
- Use suitable approaches to fulfill the moral obligations and responsibilities of a trainer
- Identify ethical issues in training practice
- Apply appropriate strategies in resolving ethical dilemmas in training
- Apply ethical decision making practices in training
- Review learners’ profile using information provided
- Preview the training programme and determine if learners can achieve the learning outcomes
- Adjust the training programme to match the needs and characteristics of learners
- Ensure training resources, facilities and environment are appropriate and safe for training delivery based on the relevant logistic checklists
