Trainers’ Profile:
Dr. Thun Vathana (BBA, MBA-Japan and Doctorate- Japan)
Dr. Thun Vathana is an agricultural economist who has work experiences with government, development industry and private sector. He has taught at Royal University of Agriculture and Royall University of Phnom Penh for more about 15 years. He has supervised many university students (undergraduate and graduate) in the fields of agricultural economics, rural development and microfinance. Apart from teaching, Dr. Vathana has involved and led many research projects. During his work as Research Manager at CDRI, he had carried out various policy research projects on agriculture, poverty, rural development and agricultural trade. As Head of Research at AMK Co. Ltd., he has led social and market research oriented towards social performance management and strategic development of the company. Dr. Vathana holds a Bachelor of Science from the Royal University of Agriculture in 1996, a Master Degree from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology in 2002, and a Doctorate from Nagoya University, Japan in 2005.
Training Methodology:
The following methods will be used during the course: Presentation, open discussions, case studies, brainstorming, Group and Individual work and mini-lectures.

- Seven days’ notice before event there will be a no charge for cancellation.
- Three days’ notice before event there will be a 25% cancellation fee charge
- Less than three days’ notice before event there will be a 50% cancellation fee charge.
- Less than one day’s notice before event there will be a full fee charge.
