Good Neighbors Cambodia (GNC) is the field country office of Good Neighbors International working in 37 countries in the world. GNC is implementing long-term development program focusing on sponsorship, child protection, education, health, WASH, income generation & partnership building and advocacy in 9 Community Development Programs in 5 provinces of Cambodia; and we are expanding more programs to other provinces to meet our rapid growth. GNC is now working with key sustainability partners and relevant department of government and NGOs to promote positive impact to vulnerable people, especially children. We are inviting motivated and qualified candidates to join our dynamic team for the following positions:

Team Leader for Sponsorship Service Facilitator 1 position based in Karas Kroum Village, Snuol commune, Snuol District, Kratie province
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary and other benefits such as 13th month salary, provident fund, health, life and accident insurance for 24 hours and phone card allowance.  

Responsibilities:
Team Management and Leadership
  • Provide overall management (planning, organizing, controlling and leading) and leadership (transformational and servant leadership) to sponsorship team (SSFs and CVs) to ensure sponsorship program implementation laid out smooth, progress, effective and achieving.
  • Coordinate and provide SSD logical framework orientation/training to the sponsorship team (SSFs and CVs) to ensure them enable for sponsorship program activities implementation.
  • Coordinate sponsorship team for RCs’ data analyzing in term of critical issues within the communities in order to seek for opportunities and possibilities to respond child case appropriately.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the sponsorship team to promote effective teamwork to ensure quality result of special sponsorship program event such as Annual Progress Report (APR), Annual Child Letter (ACL) and Gift Money and Letter (GML) to be achieved and submitted within time required.
  • To ensure the sponsorship program activities such as transformational direct service distribution, GML, ACL, APR, New Child Intake implementation through the collaboration between GNC sector program and sponsorship program.
  • Coordinate the sponsorship team to ensure them well known and able to implement the sponsorship business and Community Child Protection System (CCPS) work and functioning smoothly within the target villages. Moreover, the sponsorship team enable to response child case promptly as well as in the appropriate manner.
  • Provide regular support and coaching to SSFs and CVs to ensure their capacity and working skill increased in a professional manner.
  • Provide overall management to the SSFs and train them to ensure SSD logical framework implementing within target villages in a development sound, well monitored and could generate the progress, effectiveness and impact.
  • Coordinates and facilitate the CVs to be able for sponsorship program activities to integrate with other GNC sector project within CDP to ensure RCs’ well-being are responded.
  • Coordinate the sponsorship team to ensure RCs monitoring of their present, health and education, child protection and living condition through home visit and counseling
Project planning and implementation
  • Coordinate and facilitate the sponsorship team to prepare weekly and monthly and annual plan for efficiency and effectiveness of their facilitation role and see the big picture of sponsorship project activities base logical framework.
  • Support sponsorship team to implement project activities to ensure accountabilities and achievement.
  • Ensure that project priorities and approaches are based on community needs and align with GNC’s strategies to promote community empowerment.
  • Coordinate the sponsorship team to ensure budget plan expend and manageable in which align with the GNC financial guideline and policies.
  • Facilitate SSFs to ensure all sponsorship production are sent to SSD-HO/IHQ with quality and timely.
  • Facilitate quarterly orientation and training/refresher to SSFs and CVs to reflect and plan for further improving.
  • Coordinate the sponsorship team to conduct sponsorship annual forum (community and commune level) to open discussion, express and listen the communities’ voice over sponsorship project activities.
Monitoring, Evaluation and Documentation
  • Coordinate the sponsorship team to be well prepared sponsorship monitoring and evaluation plan to ensure the sponsorship project implementation keep on track.
  • Collect monitoring report from sponsorship team (SSFs) and entry in MIS.
  • Submit SSD Monthly Sponsorship Management Report (MSMR) consolidation, quarterly, semi-annual/annual report, annual review, designated fund report and others to CDP manager in quality and timely manner.
  • Sets up clear and specific deadline of submission on Monthly Update Report, Quarterly Home Visits Report, Gift Money/Letter, Annual Progress Report and Annual Child Letter to CVs.
  • Document and disseminate key lessons learnt to appropriate key stakeholders.
Other task
  • Response on sponsorship task on child case management in 15 official villages.
  • Other tasks assigned by the line manager.
Requirement
  1. Bachelor’s degree in development and project management or related field.
  2. Minimum 2 years of appropriate professional experience in management and leadership of a comparable community development project.
  3. Good experience in project and program design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and report writing.
  4. Good development facilitation including empowerment, community mobilization and transformational development.
  5. Good interpersonal, communication and networking skills.
  6. Competent in written English communication, computer literate (Ms. Word, excel, PPT), willing to travel and overnight stay in the community.
