The Matrix Causes Fund is a charitable fund administered by Matrix.
Since 2003 we have committed over £950,000 to national and international
charitable causes. Matrix Causes Fund is a restricted fund under the
auspices of Prism the Gift Fund, UK charity no. 1099682. Members and
staff alike make monthly contributions to the Fund and a sub-committee
considers applications for support.
The Matrix Causes Fund provides support to organisations which
promote access to justice (particularly for people trying to get support
to meet their basic personal needs), or promote equality of
opportunity, or promote a sustainable environment.
Applications are particularly welcome from organisations whose focus
is on supporting the needs of vulnerable persons such as prisoners,
asylum seekers, people with mental health difficulties, people
(particularly children) with disabilities, or women in refuges.
If you have a project with which you would like financial assistance,
please check the full criteria and make an application; the Criteria
for Funding and Application Form can be found below.
The Matrix Causes Fund Committee will next meet on Wednesday 8 May.
Any applications to be considered at the meeting should be received by 17.00 on Wednesday 24 April. Any applications received after this date will be put forward to the next quarterly meeting.
Any enquiries about the fund and completed applications should be directed to the Causes Fund administrator Rachel Murray. Please
submit a word version of your application along with a signed pdf
version, and a completed copy of the due diligence form.
