for women’s, children’s and adolescents’ health
Are you part of an inspirational collaboration across sectors
and that has resulted in solutions and achieved success for women’s,
children’s and adolescents’ health?
PMNCH and Every Woman Every Child (EWEC) have launched a
global call for proposals to find out what countries are experiencing as
they collaborate across sectors? What innovative practices are
emerging which enable this collaboration? What are the impacts? What can
we learn? We seek to proposals to develop case studies low-, middle-,
and high-income countries that will provide inspiration, insight, and ideas
into what worked and why, as well as the challenges addressed, in
collaborating across sectors. To be eligible the collaboration must also
address at least one of the six EWEC priority themes:
- Early Childhood Development
- Adolescent Health and Well-Being
- Quality, Equity and Dignity in Services
- Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights
- Empowerment of Women, Girls and Communities
- Be undertaken in Humanitarian and Fragile Settings with women, children and/or adolescents as a target population
Twelve inspiring examples of collaborations across sectors
designed to improve women’s, children’s and adolescents’ health will be
selected for development as a case study. They will also be included as a
special issue of a leading global health journal, and launched at the
2018 Partners’ Forum, an important advocacy moment in the EWEC calendar.
The case studies will be widely profiled, promoted and disseminated
through traditional and digital media channels.
