Good Neighbors Cambodia (GNC) is the field country office of Good Neighbors International working in 37 countries in the world. GNC is implementing long-term development program focusing on sponsorship, child protection, education, health, WASH, income generation & partnership building and advocacy in 9 Community Development Programs and 1 Social Enterprise in 5 provinces of Cambodia; and we are expanding more programs to other provinces to meet our rapid growth. GNC is now working with key sustainability partners and relevant department of government and NGOs to promote positive impact to the vulnerable people, especially children. We are inviting motivated and qualified candidates to join our dynamic team for the following positions:
Technical Officer for Agriculture and Cooperative Development (1 position base in head office, Phnom Penh)
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary and other benefits such as 13th month salary, provident fund, health and accident insurance for 24 hours and phone card allowance.
Job Summary: The position is responsible to develop guidelines of agriculture technique, IGG, AC, support technically build staff capacity, monitoring, communication with stakeholders for Income Generation Program.

Job Summary: The position is responsible to develop guidelines of agriculture technique, IGG, AC, support technically build staff capacity, monitoring, communication with stakeholders for Income Generation Program.
Responsibilities:
- To develop guidelines and curriculum of agriculture techniques, Agriculture Cooperative (AC), Self-Help Group (SHG), Community Saving and Credit Group (CSCG), project models and new project initiatives etc.
- To facilitate and coordinate training on agriculture technique to project participants and key partners.
- To support CDPs’ request for agriculture technique (material, seed, etc.)
- To support and guide CDP staffs to form and register AC and Income Generation Groups (IGGs).
- To facilitate and develop business plan for ACs and IGGs to run agri-business.
- To share monthly learning sources for CDP staffs.
- To assist in market research to initiate new business for AC and IGGs.
- Regular monitoring coaching to check progress of Income Generation Activity at CDPs level related to agri-business and other business.
- To conduct IGP monitoring report and prepare IGP’s case study or the most significant change.
- To participate in IGP’s design, monitoring (reports, annual data collection etc.) and evaluation.
- To assist to conduct IGP and Partnership and Network Building Action Learning Network (ALN), annual CDC conference and OD workshop.
- To organize and coordinate location with CDP staffs and project participant for exposure visit with Income Generation Activities (IGA).
- To assist to coordinate with relevant key partners, government officers and stakeholders, public and private sector, INGOs/NGOs, MFIs, and Banks to develop and implement for agricultural-based economic development.
- Other tasks as required by the line manager.
- University Degree in agriculture, economic development, and other related fields
- 3-year experience in agriculture development, SHG, AC etc.
- Good analytical, research and report writing skills
- Experience in project design, implementation, monitoring & evaluation
- Good in spoken and written English and Computer skill (Ms word, Excel, PTT)
- Honest and trustworthy, hard-working and willing to learn and travel to project sites
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of groups and individuals and establish and maintain networks.
