CCF is currently looking for the qualified candidate to fill the position of Sponsorship Program Manager to serve a full time job based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Position Summary
Reporting to the Global Chief Operating Officer, the Sponsorship Program Manager leads the development and implementation of Sponsorship Strategy to achieve set targets. The role is key to supporting an important and ongoing income flow to CCF and creating engagement with child sponsors. The Sponsorship Manager monitors and reviews progress to ensure the success of the program. 

The incumbent will provide innovative solutions to improve the program to attract new sponsors, maximize donations and retain existing sponsors by building authentic relationships between sponsor and child. This involves liaison with colleagues in the local Cambodian and various international offices, specifically with Marketing and Communications, and Donor Relations to manage sponsor’s visits successfully.

As a member of Senior Management Team (SMT), s/he will lead a large Cambodian based team to ensure high-quality deliveries and shared decision making. This will be required to improve and enhance staff capacity, especially English language skills, to support successful donor/child relationships.

Report to    : Global Chief Operating Officer
Manage    : Sponsor relations manager and Sponsor communication manger and 40 staff
Key liaison    : Executive Director, Colleagues in US, Australia, Hong Kong and the UK, Marketing & Communications, Donor Relations, Education team, Community Relations team

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an effective sponsorship strategy (Operational Plan (OP)) which clearly aligns with the CCF Roadmap and clarifies realistic and quantifiable targets;
  • Develop systems and processes to ensure effective implementation of the OP, including strategies to attract more sponsors and retain current sponsors;
  • Ensure systems and processes to enable astute monitoring and tracking – of both quantity and quality, and the development of accurate and timely monthly reports;
  • Manage the sponsorship function and work closely with marketing team to support continuous improvements in sponsor relations and attraction;
  • Play a key role in developing improved systems and processes which support meaningful relationships between the sponsor and the child;
  • Supervise the coordination of all sponsor visits ensuring that CCF is experienced as professional, visibly demonstrating our values and mission;
  • Employ a spirit of inquiry when faced with complex issues to determine the best solutions and take accountability for contributing to the overall success of CCF;
  • Manage the Sponsorship team, using a structured approach to ensure clear expectations, build skills, motivate and hold staff members accountable.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum Bachelor degree or equivalent in marketing, business administration, communications, public relations or relevant field.  
  2. At least 5-year managerial experience of staff and teams in a corporate environment demonstrating successes in implementation of strategy and operational plans;
  3. Experience in building and managing successful relationships with sponsors and external stakeholders;
  4. Experience in leading a harmonious and focused team, delivering effective outcomes;
  5. Prior experiences in a fast-paced global and/or national organization aiming for results and growth;
  6. Experiences in developing and implementing marketing and/or fundraising strategies;
  7. Proven track record of achieving results and ability to cope up with multiple priorities and be able to take initiative.
  8. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels, representing the team and the organization professionally and clearly. Professional approach to liaising with sponsors, donors, and external stakeholders, with clarity, timeliness, organization, and efficiency.
  9. Excellence English language skills
  10. An energetic self-starter with resilience, fast pace, interpersonal skills.
