Pour un Sourire d’ Enfant (PSE) or For a Child’s Smile is a non-profit organization and founded by Christian and Marie-France des Pallières, was established since 1995 in Cambodia. PSE’s mission is to help the most marginalised and debrided children escape from destitution and lead them to decent, skilled and well remunerated jobs. PSE has six main programmes adapted to the needs of the children, those programmes include: food, health, protection, education and schooling, vocational training, and helping families. PSE employs more than 600 employees and provides help to more than 6,500 children and 3000 families. We are operating in Phnom Penh, Sihanouk Ville and Siem Reap.  We are looking for qualified candidates for the positions below.

Job holder reports to:Dean of SoT

Purpose of the Job:    To give skillful knowledge to students in order to make them have good jobs and salary with professional behavior when they finish their training.

Dimension/Scope of job: This Position does not involve in budget management, staff management.

Main Responsibilities:
1. ACADEMY:

• Create and update plumbing and air-con lessons.
• Teach plumbing subjects to students 25h per week with practice 70%.
• Lead the students and participate in projects
• Be responsible for students’ score every month and semester.
• Create and follow weekly, monthly and yearly teaching plan.
• Prepare test for student’s exam.
• Be responsible for students’ discipline.  

2.  ADMINISTRATION:

• Write monthly report and submit it to Manager.
• Be responsible for plumbing workshop performance, tool keeping, hygiene, and reviewing inventory of plumbing tools and materials. 

Problem Solving and Decision Making:

• This position involves in student discipline and solving the student problems

Communications & Relationship:

• S/he will communicate frequently and internally with SoT team and also often with  PSE-I central administration team and PSE’s administration/procurement team.  S/he is also required to communicate with students.

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

1. Must have minimum Certificate of Technician in   Plumbing/ Air conditioner  or related fields.
2. Must have pedagogic training.
3. At least two years of working experience in plumbing and Construction.
4. Used to work with difficult children.
5. Used to work in education field.
6. High level of English
7. French is optional preferable
8. Can use slide presentation, Microsoft office.
9. Be able to use internet.
10. Will have flexible ideas to develop the training.
