Pour un Sourire d’ Enfant (PSE) or For a Child’s Smile is a non-profit organization and founded by Christian and Marie-France des Pallières, was established since 1995 in Cambodia. PSE’s mission is to help the most marginalised and debrided children escape from destitution and lead them to decent, skilled and well remunerated jobs. PSE has six main programmes adapted to the needs of the children, those programmes include: food, health, protection, education and schooling, vocational training, and helping families. PSE employs more than 600 employees and provides help to more than 6,500 children and 3000 families. We are operating in Phnom Penh, Sihanouk Ville and Siem Reap.  We are looking for qualified candidates for the positions below.

Communication Specialist (This position is fixed-term contract, based in Phnom Penh)

S/he will responsible for both internal and external communications for PSE Cambodia to ensure any publication whether online or printing communications follow PSE’s standards and procedures. Also, s/he will in charge coordinating and hosting journalist who come to PSE. Strong Khmer, English and French is preferred candidate.

Working Hours: 42h and 30mn/ week
Monday to Friday – 08:00 to 12:00 – 13:00- 17:30

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply the graphic charter of PSE and develop communication tools for PSE programmes;
• Develop and implement all our communication tools (brochure, leaflet, poster, sticker, PowerPoint presentation, etc) to support sales and operations;
• Coordinate with communication work to response to the programmes needs.
• Work with printing house to ensure the quality of printing and on time delivery;
• Control the use of information and communication material;
• Manage and control the stock in & out for all the communication tools;
• Develop and manage our external communication on social network and our website;
• Participate and organize events and campaigns for fund raised or corporate event for partners or prospects.
• Facilitate with local and international media;
• Manage the social media;
• Ensure the image of PSE is well spread.

QUALIFICATION
EDUCATION BACKGROUND

• Bachelor degree Mass Communication or Public Relations or equivalent degree

WORKING EXPERIENCE

• At lease 2 years working experience in related to communication and organizing events

TECHNICAL COMPETENCY

• Good interpersonal skill, enthusiastic and challenging
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural context
• Strong artistic capacity and communication skills in Khmer, French and English

PERSONAL QUALITIES

• Have team spirit and good ethic to work with underprivileged children
• Professional attitude, independent and teamwork
• Self confident
