Parkson store in Malaysia started in 1987 and it has grown steadily to become the largest department store chain in Malaysia. It has over 125 department stores in Asia Countries. And now Parkson will be launching its first department store in Cambodia at the late of 2016 and is seeking the following talented candidates for serving our expansion plan. Job title: Sales Supervisor

Be responsible for (1) operations duties, (2) sales and profits, (3) rules and regulations, and (4) Manpower planning.

1. Operations duties
  • Ensure proper house keeping.
  • Replenishment of stock and merchandise
  • Ensure sufficient manpower on the selling floor.
  • Ensure all operational equipments are in good condition.
  • Provide good customer services to encourage “plus selling”. Be polite and listen alternatively to customer needs.
  • Get information and introduce to customers about new arrivals, promotions, policies regarding to payment, returns/exchanges and security practices.
  • Handle complains from customers and promoters, difficult and complicated sales.
  • Regularly check house keeping duties in assigned area to ensure all house keeping procedures are followed and well maintained.
  • Prepare all kind of reports to the direct floor executive on the following day.
Requirements: Sufficient merchandise and department are ready for business.

2. Sales and Profits
  • Manage stock inventory and repeat order when inventory drops to a specific level. Return and exchange damaged goods (For Outright only)
  • Identify low sales items and not good quality. Estimate consumer demands and advise merchandising dept. (For Outright only).
  • Keep records of purchase orders, sales (For Outright only). Report periodically about department activities including market survey.
  • Regularly check subclass numbers, price. Cooperate with counters in taking care, arranging, and displaying merchandise, ordering price tag/label as request.
  • Break down the sales target given by brand and category.
  • Support cashier in cancel bills, return/exchange, add in/deduct float as required.
Requirements: Meet sales target, all reports properly and submit on time, enough stocks for selling.

3. Rules and Regulations

  • Follow all working procedures, the company’s policies, rules and regulations.
  • Check, monitor, remind and guide promoters to follow the rules and regulations.
Requirements: All rules and regulations are strictly followed.

4. Manpower planning

  • Plan and prepare duty rooster and assign subordinates on duty.
  • Implement policies, goals, objectives, and procedures for their department.
  • Be responsible for staff’s performance.
  • Regularly train and motivate subordinates in daily works:
  • Appraise staff’s performance and handle staff’s grievances and complains from internal and external customers.
Requirements: Efficient manpower on duty, staffs are competent in sales service. Appraisal result is evaluated accurately, fair with staff’s performance. Staff’s grievances are solved within the competence. Staff turnover at minimum level.

5. Other duties

Support other departments as necessary.
Other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by direct Floor Executive


  • 22 years old or older
  • Higher education
  • Be able to work at shift
  • Good health.
  • Service orientation: Actively looking for ways to help people, develop services.
  • Product Knowledge:  Demonstrates and maintains a thorough knowledge of the products and services offered at The Parkson.
  • Communication skills:    
         - Active listening: Be able to understand what people said.
         - Speaking: talking to other to convey information effectively.
         - Writing: Be able to fill in all kind of forms.
  • English ability: Average. Be able to communicate in daily conversation.
  • Acts with Integrity: Demonstrates responsible and honest behavior in all Parkson roles, tasks, and responsibilities.
