V Chartered Accountants Co., LTD is an independent member of KICPPAA. VCA‘s presence in Cambodia first started in 2010. A recent reorganization incorporated the expertise of VCA to expand the service lines to meet the increasing demand for quality audit and advisory services of local business and international investors in Cambodia. Assistant Manager (Audit) (Based in Phnom Penh Office)

Main Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for a portfolio of audit clients
• Planning of audit – timing, staffing and structure
• Liaising closely with clients in relation to planning and closing meetings, and discussing business developments generally
• Reviewing audit work papers
• Researching and resolving technical queries from clients
• Reviewing and finalizing financial statements
• Assisting in managing a group of seniors and trainees
• Monitoring the development of seniors and trainees and playing an active role in the performance appraisal process
• Prepares audit report and assists in the preparation of audited financial statements and income tax returns and other correspondences relative to the engagement;
• Directly reports to Audit Manager and Unit Head of the engagements regarding accounting, tax and other audit related issues
• Designs the audit work program from planning to conclusion phase based on the global audit methodology
• Participating in the delivery of training courses to staff
• General administration, including working capital management.
• Strong interpersonal skills, drive and enthusiasm are a pre-requisite for this role.

Qualifications and experience:

1. Qualified accountant (Chartered Accountant or equivalent)
2. Excellent knowledge of accounting and auditing,
3. At least four years in a professional audit environment, including at least one year as manager/assistant manager
4. Excellent project management skills
