Trailblazer Cambodia Organization (TCO) is seeking an M and E/Liaison Officer to join the Demonstration farm project. The position will begin immediately and will be a 1 year, renewable contract. The position is based in Siem Reap and will be required to follow up various project activities on a regular schedule.

Trailblazer Cambodia Organization (TCO) is a local non-governmental, non-profit organization registered in 2008 and led by Cambodian Agriculture and Rural Development specialists.  Board members, fundraisers, management team and staff have all experienced-   working with fisheries, development, chemical-free agriculture livestock and WASH sectors.

Roles and responsibilities:
The Officer will be responsible for all Demonstration Farm activities, and communicate/act as go between, with the project donor Engelstoft Family Foundation (EFF).

Key Responsibilities:

• Under the instruction of EFF and supervision of the Executive Director (ED) the key areas of responsibilities are:
• Coordinate and communicate project activities to donors/partners.
• Oversee day-to-day all data and information collected by Field officer and ensures that data are robustly confident.
• Cooperate with The Engelstoft Family Foundation Founder to follow up demonstration farm and life skill project.
• Ensure collection of statistical data relevant to measure the impact of TCO/EFF’s efforts in the community.
• Oversee day-to-day all data and information collected by Field officer and ensure data is verified, entered and computed.
• Working together with the The Engelstoft Family Foundation Founder to support the database.
• Assist Executive Director in writing report to The Engelstoft Family Foundation Founder
• Organize and attend relevant meetings and workshops related to the on-going project implementation.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. level qualifications in fisheries, aquaculture, agricultural, environmental and biological sciences or rural development.
• At least 3 years professional experience in a field relevant to fisheries, natural resources management, or rural and development.
• Experience in agriculture and life skill is preferred.
• Excellent communication
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and demonstrated accountability
• MS Word, Excel, access, power pint, ArcGIS, Adobe photoshop…etc.  is a plus.
• Has excellent spoken and written Khmer and English abilities at least placing for ACE level 12 prior to employment and pass same level within the probation period.
• Ability to travel and work in rural areas frequently using own motorbike.
