World Vision is an international Christians Humanitarian Organization working with the poor and oppressed to promote human transformation and seek justice. Our Cambodia Office is seeking for (01) one qualified Cambodian national to fill vacant position of:

Position:                                 Senior Manager for Urban Vision Initiative

Location:                                Phnom Penh

Salary & Benefit Package:     USD 1,040 – USD 1,300  per month dependent on your experience & qualifications

I. THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

• Lead and support the development and operationalisation of urban organizational, operational and programming change strategies
• Provide overall leadership and management to Operations offices and urban ADPs and Sectoral Projects within the assigned operations area
• Assist in the development of Cambodian staff through facilitating urban R&D, knowledge exchange and capacity building as appropriate
• Assist urban ADP and sectoral project managers in developing urban ADP and project design, planning, monitoring and evaluation with LEAP compliance.
• Build and strengthen partnerships and networks with external agencies, organizations and government
• Provide a learning and collaborating connection to WV urban entities

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operationalisation of national urban strategies and initiatives
2. Organisational adaptation in urban programming
3.  Provide Leadership to staff in an assigned Operations
4. To provide Management effectively and efficiency for an assigned operations.
5. Staff Development is growth in aligned with new ADP model and approaches
6. Effective R*D, knowledge exchange and capacity building systems
7. Programme Quality is aligned with LEAP guideline.
8. Integration and Partner with stakeholder along with integration principles.

III. REQUIREMENTS

1. Graduate qualifications and / or professional background in Urban Planning, Urban Development, or other relevant development field
2. A minimum of four years of relevant professional experience in urban programming, planning, development or poverty issues, of which preferably at least three years within INGOs.
3. A minimum of four years in a management, advisory or leadership position
4. Demonstrated experience in program or project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting. 
5. Knowledge of programming resources and tools in urban community development
6. Skills in the development and implementation of current and new urban programming resources, tool, and strategies
7. Awareness of key sources of information around urban poverty and development, including government bodies, local & international organisations, and academic institutions
8. Excellent written (document-writing, e-mails or letters, publicity material, or meeting notes) and verbal communication skills (face-to-face, telephone, presentation and public speaking, interviews or formal meetings)
