Good Neighbors International (GNI) is an international humanitarian and development NGO. GNI has made great strides in its mission by providing people around the world with a better quality of life. Good Neighbors Cambodia (GNC) is the field country project that has been implementing its projects in Cambodia since 2002.  We are currently implementing 9 community development projects in some provinces around Cambodia with our Head Office is based in Phnom Penh. We are expanding more projects to other provinces; and to meet our rapid growth, we are seeking more candidates to join our dynamic team for positions as below: 

Executive Assistant (English speaking person is preferable, 1 position based in Head Office, Phnom Penh)

Job description
  • Undertake high level executive support to ensure effective management of the office of the Country Director (CD)
  • Communicate with NGOs, government institutions, UN agencies and other stakeholders for sharing or exchange information or collaboration
  • Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Country Director including: managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.
  • Plans, coordinates and ensures the CD’s schedule is followed and respected.
  • Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CD, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
  • Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the CD's office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.
  • Works closely and effectively with the CD to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, agendas and other meeting papers, briefing papers, reports, presentations and other documents
  • Provide general administrative support and assistance on preparation and distribution of minutes, agenda, support papers, and associated correspondence for various meetings.
  • Support the Country Director in the preparation and presentation of reports, proposals, budgets and related activities in servicing and developing contracts and relationships with stakeholders and partners
  • To prepare and/or draft correspondence for the Director, as required

Requirement

  • Bachelor degree in communication, management or related field.
  • English speaking person is preferable
  • Some experience in providing assistance to senior executive management, demonstrated high level administrative, coordination and organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated high level initiative and personal drive to anticipate requirements, progress work and to respond flexibly and effectively to changing work requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and capacity to build and sustain cooperation and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated written communication skills including the ability to prepare documents and correspondence with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and to demonstrate maturity of discretion and judgment, particularly in matters involving sensitive issues.
  • Highly competent in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Gmail, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
