Pour un Sourire d’ Enfant (PSE) is a non-profit organization, established at the end of 1995 in Cambodia, working to provide food, shelter, medical care, general education and vocational training to children needing support, e.g. underprivileged children; maltreated children; children living in poverty and children without any formal education in Phnom Penh, Preahsihanouk and Siem Reap. Currently PSE is providing help to more than 6,500 children, supporting around 3,000 children in public schools, 1,500 in the remedial education program, and 1,500 in the vocational training program. Around 500 children benefit from specific educational programs: classes for children with disability, day-care centers, infant welfare, etc. PSE employs more than 600 dedicated staff. Due to rapid growth of existing and new programs, PSE is seeking candidates to fill the position of Assistant to Sihanoukville Program Manager based in Sihanoukville..


Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist Program Manager in Management, Center Operation/ Activities, Finance, Communication and Administration;
  • Follow up and control Sihanoukville programs (food programs, study development programs, daycare center programs…) against the logical framework;
  • Control and Assist all hygiene, cleanliness, maintenance, food, and transportation from day to day operation;
  • Manage and control the petty cash in line with a correct budget code;
  • Check and verify all invoices and expenses and take action accordingly;
  • Organize, coordinate and schedule all appointments and meetings, training and other events for Program Manager and then write a precise report and distribute to people concerned;
  • Make sure documents, filings and office work well-organized and accessibly;
  • Control and provide all logistics and materials to each operation;
  • Control and manage all logistics, stock checking, inventory recording, to ensure logistics to be ready to implement and launch various programs, projects, or activities;
  • Provide and build a good communication and relation with all people; both in Phnom Penh and province;
  • Perform other tasks assigned by program manager.
Job Requirements
  • Possess  minimum of  Bachelor's Degree in  Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics or other related fields;
  • Minimum one year experience related;
  • Strong capacity of administration and secretary skills;
  • Strong ability of office management and formal administration letter writing;
  • Good communication and organization skills;
  • Be able to handle with multi-tasks;
  • Well-organized, flexible, patient and dynamic;
  • High speed and accurate typing of Unicode;
  • Be able to communicate in English; French is a plus;
  • Respect and support the mission and value of PSE with a high confidentiality moral.
