V Chartered Accountants Co., Ltd (VCA), an auditing and accounting firm, is formed by a group of intellectual and professionals who are experienced in the field of auditing, finance/accounting, business advisory and taxation and strive to be the best service provider in the above mentioned fields in Cambodia. Currently, we are operating in two major locations- Phnom Penh Capital and Preah Sihanouk Province. We are one of the progressive professional firms in Cambodia with clients from various types of industries.
We are member firm of the Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors and are registered in both lists of certified public accountants and statutory auditors since May 2012. We were enrolled by Ministry of Economy and Finance to open and operate as an auditing and accounting firm in Cambodia since June 2012 and are officially registered with the Ministry of Commerce since 2011. The Registration number is Co. 2042E/2011). As of now, we are looking for experienced and qualified staff having the initiative and drive to undertake the below mentioned task:

Senior Associate Auditor (Based in Phnom Penh; Salary negotiable)
Main Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Ability to understand the client’s business and evaluates the accounting system and internal controls by performing analyses on significant processes and other risk factors;
- Communicate all possible areas for improvement in the current accounting policies, procedures and internal controls to the client’s management;
- Provides assistance to clients on tax, accounting and other audit related matters. This entails research, formulation of opinions and written replies to queries received;
- Prepares audit report and assists in the preparation of audited financial statements, income tax returns and other correspondences relative to the engagement;
- Direct reports to Manager and Partner in charge of the engagements regarding accounting, tax and other audit related issues
- Designs the audit work program, starting from planning until conclusion phase based on the global audit methodology
- Trains, supervises and evaluates the performance of staff for simultaneous engagements
- Prepares time and cost budget for assigned engagements
- Be able to deal with and meet tight deadlines
Qualifications and experience:
- CPA required
- University degree in accounting
- Strong commitment to duties and having an internal locus of control
- Has an interest in being a business partner
- Strong leadership and supervisory skill
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- 3 years of experience in auditing
- Should be of Cambodian nationality
