The Google Science Fair is a global online science and technology
competition open to individuals and teams from ages 13 to 18. Find out

Prizes
- The Grand Prize: The Grand Prize includes a 10-day trip to the Galapagos Islands with National Geographic Expeditions, an incredible experience at the Virgin Galactic Spaceport and $50,000 in scholarship funding. It will truly change your life.
- Age Category Winners: This year’s age category winners will enjoy experiences at LEGO Education, National Geographic or Google, $25,000 scholarships, and other exciting perks.
- Finalist Prize: The 15 global finalists will receive a variety of exciting prizes.
- Scientific American Science in Action Award : Scientific American will give $50,000 in funding and a year’s worth of mentoring to the winner of the Scientific American Science in Action Award.
- Google Science Fair Computer Science Award : The winner will be awarded $25,000 in funding by Google, to help develop their project and a year's worth of mentoring.
- Celebrate the School Prize: prize honors the contributions of our winner’s school with a cash grant and other prizes.
- Voter’s Choice Award : The winner will receive a $10,000 grant from Google to help develop their project.
- Local Award: The Local Award will celebrate projects that receive a mark of excellence during preliminary judging and that attempt to address a locally relevant issue. The winners will be awarded a prize valued at $1,000 by Google, to help further their project and education.
