The Karen Hilltribes Trust (Reg charity 1093548) was founded in 2000, in memory of Richard Worsley. We have since established a Thai foundation in Bangkok.
Our projects are focussed on improving health, supporting education and providing a sustainable income for the Thai Karen. To find out what we do. As a volunteer with KHT, you will be welcomed into a remote Karen community, living with a Karen family and even adopting a Karen name! During the day, you'll teach at a local school, helping to improve their English skills (while they improve your Karen and Thai).
